We worked with Alchemy for a number of years, concentrating on the phased refurbishment of a nine-story office building, York House in Central London. Phase 1 of the project included an enhanced reception area and new look washrooms. Phase 2, which has been completed recently, includes a CAT A refurbishment of two upper floors as well as bicycle and shower facilities on the ground and lower ground levels. Further phases of the project will involve the refurbishment of 2 further floors along with a new dedicated access from the street for a potential leisure & fitness operation on the lower ground floor.
The goal for our client is to improve the building and its facilities to attract quality tenants who sign up for longer leases in the competitive Central London market.

Club Company
The Club Company is a developer and operator of sports and hotel facilities, all within a traditional Golf Country Club environment. We have been working with them for over twenty years on most of their sites around the UK. Projects often involve significant expansion of facilities to their customers, such as the building of new swimming pools, health spas, treatment rooms, fitness facilities, F&B and more recently hotel rooms. On these sites, the demands on heating, cooling, water supplies and drainage are more complex than conventional commercial schemes and we have an intimate knowledge of these requirements from both a functional as well as environmental perspective, often working closely with services engineers, kitchen designers, BREEAM consultants and Local Authorities. These projects also require careful programme management as they have to be built within a fully operational environment.
